Yeye Agency team escaped from the rooms.
As Yeye Agency team, on 27th of July, we organized a team building event in Escape Rooms Prague which is followed by evaluation session at Kolkovna Savarin Restaurant. The concept was “The Devil’s Bible” and our challenge was to escape the room by finding clues and objects, opening locks, solving series of puzzles and break mystery codes to break free in 60 minutes.
After we escaped, we went Kolkovna Savarin Restaurant to evaluate the game and sharing our experience on the game. For some of us, it was the first time for such game. And, for some of us like Doruk, it was the first time for such game as a team building event. Commenting on the game, our marketing trainee Musa “That was my first Escape Room experience. I listened to the instructor carefully- the structure of the game, rules and some tips. When we entered the room everything looks like a problem to solve for me. I’ve tried to build connections and bridges what we have and have found so far during the game. Since my childhood, I’m really into to secret codes, alphabets -like Enigma. That was the chance I could practice what I’ve learned till today. As a team, some of us were so exciting and some were very calm, that created a great balance in the whole team. During the evaluation, I think we’ve learned about our skills and approach to the problems and life during the game”. Our business development trainee Doruk was pleased to experience the game as a team building event for the first time. He mentioned that it differs in task diversion and planning when it is played as a team building event. He also added that focusing on goals was more simple when it’s done with an actual team. Our human resources coordinator Sarka mentioned that time to time the game was more challenging for her as Turkish colleagues got very excited and switched to speaking in Turkish.
During the evaluation, we recognized that we all enjoyed the game in different ways but played the game for one common aim which is freedom. Our common aims during our team building events are changing but for the business life, our common aim is always same which is expanding businesses into new markets.
