I.B.C. Praha is part of a strong Czech engineering group which also includes the companies Armaturka Krnov and ARPO. The main production programme consists of ball valves, gate valves, globe valves, check valves and other valves and filters.
The challenge
I.B.C. PRAHA spol. s r.o. (company) is producer of industrial valves. The company is mostly oriented on Russian market and is looking for possibilities at the new markets such as Turkey. In order to expand to Turkish market, company approached to YeYe with request for market feasibility report regarding energy sector and petroleum and chemical industry. And afterwards to develop the next steps of the introduction of the company to expand I.B.C. PRAHA spol. s r.o. into the Turkish market.The solution
Plan: We divided our plan into 2 main parts. Market Feasibility Finding Potential Partners In first stage; we provided the full aspects of the energy industry in Turkey deeply. In this report, we examined power plants with subtitles such as electricity, coal, wind, hydraulics. After that, we researched EPC contractors and their power plants. In addition that, we focused on petroleum & chemical industry in Turkey. Finally, we listed IBC Praha’s competitor and potential partners. End of the this stage, company welcomed YeYe’s energy report and developed the next steps to expand in Turkey. In second stage, YeYe got in contact with big energy companies, valve distributors and valve producers.Implement: We reached to the right contact from the each segment and presented ourselves and what we want to. In this process, we called energy companies, valve distributors and valve producers in Turkey. In addition this process, YeYe created IBC Praha’s Turkish website for Turkey market. After the reaching right contacts, we arranged meetings with companies from different segments. In the meeting, we discussed possible partnership scenarios with companies.
