The Challenge
Finding a distributor for the Turkish market for a company which has been in Czech market for more than 20 years engaged in the development, manufacture and sale of digital panel meters, signal converters, bargraf, large displays and unique PLC. With Orbit Merret, we met in AMPER Fair in 2014.
The Solution
Plan : After visiting to the production facility of Orbit Merret, we agrred on working together for their expanding strategy into Turkish market. Yeye Agency had the target to develop the most effective distributor network for Orbit Merret.
Implementation : The potential companies were identified and approached privately with a Turkish information booklet about Orbit Merret and its products. We arranged face to face meetings in Istanbul with potential companies.
The Result
Signing up ‘Ilke Otomasyon’ as the official distributor in Turkey. Both companies joined to Automation Fair in Istanbul in March 2015 to present the products portfolio. The first products were exported to Turkey in November 2014.

ORBIT MERRET, s.r.o., is a Czech company which develops, manufactures, services and markets digital panel measuring instruments and signal convertors. It was established in 1998 by merging two companies ORBIT CONTROLS, s.r.o. and MERRET, s.r.o., both of which had been active on the Czech market for a decade.
