Team building story
All of us accepted her idea and we were looking forward to our new team building event and new experience. First, we started our team building event in our office with drinking delicious wine which Monika brought from Portugal.We said “cheers” for us and our new team goals and went from office to our final destination “Smaltum”.
WE ARE SMALTUM
Finally, we came to the “Smaltum” which is situated near Staroměstská. There, we took some time for choosing mug’s format and the lady in the shop were explaining us general tips about using colors and drying mugs with the hair dryer.
Challenge was set it up
When we choose our mug’s format, we were thinking about design and creation which we want to put on mugs.
Only default theme was “YeYe” logo which we decided to put at the bottom of the mug or on the plate, depending on the mug’s format. The best one will get a price.
While Musa was well prepared with draft of design which he would like to put on the mug, a lot of us just decided to do some improvisation.
Start to paint
So, we came on different ideas, and made a fun during painting. Melis choose sea and waves, Svitlana hearts and Aybuke were painting fishes which in Turkish culture represent “kismet” or translated in English destiny/fortune.
Our director Yalin decided to put names of our team as a memory for this day and this team board in general.
More, we had a lot of funny moments with drying our mugs and before final baking in the oven, some of us changed their ideas in total.
Amazing results
Finally, the lady baked our mugs and we get the final product, our unique handmade mugs!
As we wanted to make some competition for the most beautiful mug, later we decided that every mug was nice and special in its way.
Aybuke said one nice thing that our mugs and painting represent our personalities. The explanation can be that our personalities were expressed on our mugs.
So, as in everyday life, some of us were really patient in painting, some finished in less than a hour and some needed more than hour and a half which we took for our team building event. So, all of that were expressed on our mugs and our designs.
To sum up, we decided to use our special mugs in our office and mugs will represent our team spirit and it will be memory on this nice day.
