The challengeThe “Bileto” provides the whole industry with technological tools to interconnect transport providers and passengers, anywhere in the world. The company approached YeYe to request for a market feasibility for Turkey and afterwards to develop the next steps of the introduction of the product into the Turkish market.
The solutionPlan: First, we provided the full aspects of the transportation industry in Turkey with main lines. In this part, we focused on current status of Turkey’s transportation and Turkey’s future plans about transportation. Second, we examined road transport, railways and sea transportation deeply. Third, we searched online ticket selling & delivery system providers in Turkey. Finally, we put useful information about specific regulations for ticket e-commerce according to Ministry of Transportation in Turkey. Second, YeYe got in contact with the bus companies, online ticket selling & delivery system providers and potential investors in the media segment.
Implement: We reached to the right contact from the each company and presented ourselves and what we want to. In this process, we called bus companies in Turkey (top bus companies, regional bus companies, and bus companies that go abroad - ex: from Turkey to Greece or from Turkey to Bulgaria etc.-) Second, we called state railways in Turkey and sea transportation companies. -ex: from Turkey to Cyprus or Greek islands- One of the important part was the reach to online ticket selling & delivery system providers in Turkey. After the research, we reached to the right contact to the contacts in online ticket selling & delivery system provider companies.
